Notes
The simplest block — a free-text log for anything the other blocks don't cover. Every pillar's "+Add" menu offers Notes first.
Adding one
- Open a pillar → tap the trailing "+" tab → Notes.
- Give it a name (this becomes its tab label) and tap Add.
Logging
- Write into the textarea and tap Log. Your most recent entries show below, newest first.
- Tap "Edit <name>" to reveal a Delete button on each entry. Entries can be deleted but not edited in place — delete and re-log if you need to fix one.
Rename, recolour, or delete the whole block via the pillar's ⋯ menu → "Edit <name>".
Day Tracker
Habit-style tracking — either an open-ended streak ("keep it going") or a target count within a recurring week or month.
Creating a tracker
- Inside the block, tap "+", name it, and pick a goal type: Streak (count days) or Target per period (a number of times per week or month).
Checking in
- Tap a tracker to open it. Pick a date (today by default — you can log an earlier day you forgot, but not a future one) and optionally add a note about how it went.
- Streak trackers: Kept it or Log a slip (a slip resets the streak). Frequency trackers: Log a check-in.
Log history
- Toggle between Calendar (🔥 on kept days, tap a day to filter) and List view.
Day Tracker sections can also send you a daily reminder if nothing's logged yet.
Time Tracker
A Harvest-style start/stop timer for time spent against a business and project, with manual entry as a backup.
Structure
- Two levels — a Business (client) contains Projects. Add either inline with the small "+" next to their dropdown, right from the timer.
Timing work
- Pick a business and project, tap ▶ Start. Elapsed time ticks live; tap Stop to log it.
- Prefer to log after the fact? "+ Log time" opens a form for business, project, date, hours + minutes, and notes.
Browsing logged time
- Calendar or List view, with a running total up top. Tap any entry to edit or delete it.
Idea Journal
Named idea backlogs — a running list of title + notes ideas, good for "App ideas," "Content ideas," anything you want to capture without losing.
- Add a journal by name; open it, then "+ Add idea" for a title and optional notes.
- Ideas list newest first — tap one to edit it. Rename or delete a whole journal via its own "Edit journal" button.
Budget
The full accounts / categories / budgets / bills / income / expenses system — the biggest block in Atrium, addable to any pillar, not just Money.
Dashboard
- Stat panels — Expenses, Bills, Income, Budget, Accounts always show; Savings and Debt join once you've actually flagged an account for either — each opens its own screen.
- Below the panels, a spending habit view shows what's left — pick which method it follows from "Edit Budget": Intentional/zero-based (one gauge against your budget or account balances), 50/30/20 (three rings for Needs/Wants/Savings, split from your income), Profit-First (the gauge plus a confirmed/not-confirmed badge for this cycle's transfer into your Savings accounts), or Debt-Elimination (the gauge plus a payoff-progress bar for every tracked debt). Each method has its own (i) explainer right on the dashboard.
- From the pillar's ⋯ menu → "Edit Budget" you can set panel layout (Full row / Half row / List), choose and configure the spending habit above, switch panels between a plain colour and fixed per-panel accent colours, and reach CSV import/export.
Accounts
- Add an account with a name and starting balance. Toggle it Active, and independently choose whether its balance counts toward the dashboard's Accounts total, its Savings total, its Debt total, any combination, or none.
- A credit card or similar tracked via its Debt toggle always shows as a positive amount owed — even once logging expenses against it has pushed its own balance negative.
- A Future transactions toggle decides whether dated-ahead entries count toward the balance shown today.
Categories
- Top-level categories (e.g. "Home," "Groceries") each hold subcategories. Give a subcategory a budget — Fixed, Variable, or Discretionary, a monthly cycle start date, and an optional Rollover toggle so unspent budget carries into next cycle.
- Tag a subcategory Needs, Wants, or Savings — only needed for the 50/30/20 spending habit, which splits your income by that tag to show what's left in each group.
Bills
- Add a bill with an amount, due date, and recurrence — One-off, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly (weekly bills pick specific weekdays, yearly bills pick specific months), plus an optional end date.
- Each occurrence has its own Paid/Unpaid toggle — marking one month paid doesn't touch any other month.
- A calendar view marks due dates; tap a day to filter the list.
Income & Expenses
- Both browse month-by-month with a running total. Expenses pick a category, subcategory, and account, and can optionally be linked to a bill they're paying (marks that bill's occurrence paid automatically).
- Attach up to 4 receipt photos to an expense (from your camera or gallery) — tap a thumbnail for a full-screen view. Expenses with a receipt show a small 📷 marker in the list.
Savings
Debt
Track debts two ways, and mix both in the same pillar:
- A dedicated Debt record — name, starting balance, minimum payment, optional interest rate, and its own payments log — for payoff-progress tracking: a bar showing how much's been paid off, plus a confirmed/not-confirmed badge for this cycle.
- Or just flag an existing Account (e.g. a credit card you already log expenses against) as Debt — no separate record needed.
Either way rolls into the dashboard's Debt stat panel and the Debt-Elimination spending habit view.
Import & export
- From "Edit Budget" → Data: Export CSV downloads your expenses + income as one file; Import CSV reads that same layout back in, with a preview of what will import before you confirm.
Journal
A private diary — title, body, date, mood, location, and photos, styled like a proper journal app rather than a form.
- "+ Add entry" opens the editor: up to 6 photos, an optional location tag (pre-filled from your device's location on a brand-new entry, freely editable), a title, date, body, and a 1–5 mood picker.
- Save as a draft or fully save it — drafts get their own tab and stay out of your main entries list until you're ready.
- Bookmark an entry to pin it above your Recent list. A "✨ Gratitude idea" button drops in a random writing prompt if you're stuck.
Journal sections can also send you a daily reminder.
Moods
A mood calendar and quick-log view. It holds no data of its own — it reads the mood field from whichever Journal block is in the same pillar, so add a Journal block alongside it first.
- Log today's (or any date's) mood with one tap on an emoji — no need to open the full Journal editor.
- A month calendar shows a mood emoji on every logged day, so patterns are visible at a glance.
Moods sections can also send you a daily reminder.
Wishlist
Boards of wanted items — price, retailer, a link, and a photo. Good for gift lists, big purchases you're saving toward, or a shopping backlog.
- "+ New board" for a fresh list (e.g. "Christmas," "House"). Inside a board, "+ Add item" adds a photo, name, price + currency, retailer, and a link.
- A board's ⋯ menu can turn on "Show checkboxes" — checking an item off moves it into a Completed section at the bottom, out of your active list.
- Set each board's own layout — Full row, Half row, or List — independent of any other board.
Projects
A businesses/clients and projects list — the same data Time Tracker's dropdowns use, viewed and managed on its own.
- "+ Business" adds a client; open it and "+ Project" adds a project underneath, showing total time logged against it.
- Deleting a business or project also deletes every time entry logged against it — Atrium will ask you to confirm first.
Health Connect
Pulls Steps, Sleep, Resting heart rate, and Workout data from Android's Health Connect (whatever Samsung Health or another app has already synced there) into matching blocks in your Health pillar.
- Add Steps, Sleep, Resting heart rate, and/or Workout blocks yourself first (via "+Add" → Notes, named to match) — Health Connect fills in whichever of those it finds by name; it won't create blocks for you.
- First connection backfills the last 30 days; after that, "Sync now" pulls anything new since your last sync.
Harvest
Imports logged time from a getharvest.com account straight into your Business pillar's Time Tracker.
- Paste your Harvest Personal Access Token and Account ID (found under your Harvest avatar → "Developers") and tap Connect.
- Sync now pulls entries since your last sync (90 days back on first run) into a dedicated "Harvest" Time Tracker section — matching businesses/projects are created automatically by name.
- Disconnect at any time to remove the stored token.
